This project was created for the Auckland Resettled Community Coalition with the intent to highlight the heritage and cultural wealth refugee resettlement programs bring to any given country. The subjects were all people that came to New Zealand as either a refugee, an asylum seeker or via the family reunification programs and now are actively participating in the creation of the new identity of this relatively young country.
It was initially shown as a Core exhibition at the Auckland Festival of photography 2018 to an audience of over 2500 people.
