During my stay in San Jose I had the privilege to follow a group of graduate students from the University of Costa Rica as they learn about the importance of artistic stimuli in the development of children with Down Syndrome.
The students visit the Educational center a few times a week. They help create an environment of support, affection and tolerance while making sure the children are getting the best possible outcome for their education.
The images created for this reportage were used by the educational center to promote their work in agreement with the children’s parents.
