WELLINGTON 17/03/2019 - The air was still on windy Wellington as the tragedy struck nation came together to make sense of their grievance.
Approximately 10 thousand people gathered at the reserve basin in Wellington for a vigil organised by Wellington City Council and a group of Grassroots organisations including Changemaker Resettlement Forum. Speakers focused on the need to heal and to come together as one diverse nation, addressing our underlying racism problems and calling for policies that reinforce gun control, and are more welcoming towards migrants and refugees.
